Many thanks to all our volunteers and helpers who made this event happen, and to our friends at the 32nd Butlocks Heath Scouts for looking after the galley and the 6th Hamble Sea Scouts for helping and supplying the safety boats. Also a huge thank you to members of the Regatta and Carnival Committee, who got the Carnival off the ground, after so many years. I am sure this event can only grow year on year with the community working together in colaboration. We are already working on next years event, scheduled for Saturday 14th June 2014.

Saturday 8th June 2013 is our major fund raising event of the year, Netley Regatta and Victorian Carnival, celebrating 150 years of the opening of the Royal Victoria Military Hospital.

Registration for competing boats will be open from 1000, with briefing at 1030 and first race at 1100.

For those taking part in the carnival procession, the procession will be leaving The Crescent at 1115. You might even see Queen Victoria.
